John Travolta is Gay, Carrie Fisher Says

John Travolta is gay and it's no secret - just ask Carrie Fisher.
Travolta has been followed by gay rumors and reports since the late 1980s, always denying them and often enlisting a team of lawyers to take action.
But Fisher, most famous for her iconic portrayals of Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, tells The Advocate that her old friend is ... well ...

Carrie and John go way back, but is she telling it like it is?
The Advocate asks: “I know you and Travolta go way back, so let’s get really blunt here: Does his (Travolta’s) legal team have any business demanding Gawker remove a recent post suggesting that he’s given (bleep) jobs?”
Her response: “Wow! I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know and we don’t care. Look, I’m sorry he’s uncomfortable with it, that’s all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss."
This isn't her first such comment about Travolta, either.
In a 2009 Advocate interview, Fisher lists among 10 Things Gay Men Should Know About Women that “We don’t really care that John Travolta is gay.”
Travolta was first publicly called gay by porn star Paul Barresi who gave an interview about an alleged gay relationship with Travolta in the 1980s.
He later recanted that story and subsequently said the story was true.
Other men have come forward alleging sexual contact with John, who recently became a father again, welcoming a son with wife Kelly Preston.
The latest of alleged Travolta paramours, Robert Randolph, recently came forward to tell the National Enquirer about the star's "secret gay life."
Randolph's new book has drawn heavy fire from Travolta’s legal team as the author alleges to have direct knowledge of Travolta's gay dalliances.
Do you think he's gay? Does it even matter?

Selena Gomez on Justin Bieber Breakfast Date: Just Pancakes!

When is breakfast at IHOP more than just a chance to catch up over some deliciously greasy fare? When it involves two of the world's most popular pop singers.
Indeed, the Internet has been buzzing over the supposed date Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber went on late last week, as the two were seen all cute and cozy at the aforementioned establishment.
Can we officially dub these two "Jelena?" Not exactly, Gomez says.

"It was just pancakes! Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed to Us Weekly, adding in an interview with MTV: "Who doesn't like pancakes? We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That's all it is. All innocent."
Well... that's no fun.
Selena does admit that she's close to Bieber, but not in the way many have been believing.
"I love Justin. When he first started to come over from Canada his manager contacted me and he just said that he would like to meet me and he was just such a good kid... I feel like a big sister now, 'cause I want to protect him."

Ke$ha Named Billboard Artist of the Year

It's hard to believe, but Ke$ha has only been part of the pop culture consciousness for a year.
This singer's first hit, "Tik Tok," hit number-one in January. It was then followed by three more smashes, as well as 1.1 million copies sold of the album "Animal." For these reasons and more, Billboard Magazine has named Ke$ha its Artist of the Year.

How does Ke$ha feel about this honor and her meteoric rise in general? She told the publication:
"I pretty much feel like I've been reborn into this completely different existence. My entire life has become making music and playing shows, and I love it. I've accepted the fact that my fans are now my family."
Think Ke$ha deserves this honor? Ponder that question as you check out a video of her and her friends covering a Rolling Stones classic below.

Robert Pattinson: The Next Eminem?

Yo, his name is Robert Pattinson and he here's to say: he once wanted to be a rapper in a major way...
If this whole acting thing doesn't work out, the Twilight Saga star recently told Monsters & Critics that his fallback career would be to make like a certain Grammy-nominated hip hop star.
"I was obsessed with Eminem when I was younger. When he first came out I was about 12 and fanatical about his Slim Shady CD. I think he's a genius," Rob said.

Adding that he even gave his crew its own name (The Big Tub and the Tappy Cats), Pattinson said "most of my rhymes were stolen off other people." Maybe one day we can all listen to them. He says:
"I've got a whole collection of tapes of me rapping from when I was 13! I wanted to be a rapper so there are hundreds and hundreds of tapes. They're very amusing!"

Nicki Minaj to Host New Year's Eve Bash

Along with Ke$ha and Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj is one of 2010's most notable up-and-coming artists. She'll be starting off 2011 with a night to remember.
Minaj's New Year's Eve party - hosted alongside Shayne Lamas' husband / The Dirty (dot) com founder Nik Richie - will go down at Mansion in Miami, Fla.
The club shelled out $50,000 on an all-pink decor - cotton candy, carpets, drapery, aerialists, dancers, light shows and Nicki-esque butt pads for the staff.

She may not be married to Drake, but she appears quite attached to that color scheme. Think she's got enough pink-themed props for this particular event?
Hey, when girls wanna hit it, you gotta play to the audience.

Lindsay Lohan: Don't Call Me Provocative!

She's been called a lot of names over the years, and understandably, Lindsay Lohan is not a fan of certain words used to describe her in the media.
Hilariously, the real button-pushing term for her is "provocative."
Seriously ... for her that's over the line. Sources say the actress is "beyond upset" that CNN dared use that unspeakable epithet to describe her.

The news network's Showbiz Tonight listed LiLo among the most provocative stars of 2010 (she's also #8 in THG's Celebrity of the Year rankings).
Miley Cyrus, Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen also ranked high on the provocative scale, but Lady Gaga took the top prize. Not bad company really.
So either Lindsay is just pissed she lost to Lady Gaga or she has no idea what that word means. Because she's pretty provocative. See below:
